The Torres family appoints Fabrice Ducceschi as managing director.

Familia Torres has appointed Fabrice Ducceschi as the company's new managing director. Ducceschi, who has managed companies in the food sector such as Albacora Alimentos, Adam Foods and Nutrexpa, will be responsible for the general management of the family-owned wine group, based in Vilafranca del Penedès, and will report to the Board of Directors, made up of members of the fourth and fifth generations and external advisors. He will take up his post on 1 September, beginning a handover period with the current general management until December 2025.

Fabrice Ducceschi has extensive experience in the consumer goods sector and in the general management of companies in Spain, Portugal and France, both multinationals and family businesses. For the past year and a half, he has been managing director of Albacora Alimentos and a member of the Advisory Board of Delaviuda Confectionery Group. Previously, he ran Adam Foods for eight years and Nutrexpa for another six years. He was also managing director of Nike Iberia and Nike France. Until 2023, he had been vice-president of AME (FIAB), a multi-sector association of food and beverage companies.

Miguel A. Torres, who will continue as chairman of the Board of Directors of Familia Torres, says: ‘I am convinced that Mr Fabrice Ducceschi, thanks to his experience and global strategic vision, will contribute to consolidating our business in this new phase and successfully addressing the challenges of the wine sector, which is constantly changing and evolving.’ He adds: ‘At the same time, I would like to thank Mr Miquel Miró and Mr Xavier Armengol for their excellent work and leadership at the helm of the general management during this time. They have demonstrated great professionalism and commitment, driving the implementation of initiatives that have been relevant to the future of the company.’

For his part, Fabrice Ducceschi comments: ‘It is an honour to join this century-old winery of international prestige. My goal is to work as a team with the directors and the Board of Directors to strengthen Familia Torres' position nationally and internationally, with sustainable growth aligned with the company's values, allowing us to consolidate the various existing projects and develop new initiatives.’
