New issue: Selectus Wines October 2022

|  Comments

LET'S GO FOR 10 MORE YEARS... AT THE VERY LEAST!

As our readers and followers on social media will already know, in our previous issue we celebrated our 10th anniversary, of which we were justly proud. But obviously, the machinery is still in motion, the world does not stand still, and we have to continue to move forward and progress, improving and innovating as we go.

As you may have noticed, in our previous issue, we introduced a spirits section and, in addition to the article and tasting notes that featured inside the magazine, spirits started to put in an appearance on our front cover. Our intention is that wines and spirits will share space in "Selectus Wines & Spirits" for the next 10 years at least.

Climate change is here, no matter what climate change deniers might say, and in the world of wine, this change has become more than apparent, because, in 2022, the grape harvests were practically two weeks earlier than usual. This is not only the case on the Iberian Peninsula but in practically the whole of the Northern Hemisphere (the South was already affected a few months ago). Either we change our behaviour radically in the next few years, or this will become "our daily bread".

In this issue, in addition to the usual features, we delve into the world of wine and spirits distribution in a fascinating interview with the head of DIPRIMSA (Primeras Marcas), Philippe Eberlé. We enjoyed an interesting and lively chat with Philippe from which we are bringing you the most interesting (and publishable...) highlights.

And, as you may have already guessed, we are already busy preparing our issue for Christmas 2022 which, believe it or not, is just around the corner!

But for now, sit back, relax and enjoy this autumn issue of Selectus Wines & Spirits.
