Notable new releases: Magnetic and Lost Vines

The latest additions to the Torres Icons wines family, Magnetic and Lost Vines, have started off on the right foot, reaping their first medals in this international competition.

Magnetic is the range of wines accessible for restaurants from DO Catalunya, young wines where Grenache combined with an international variety predominates, Syrah in the case of red wine and Sauvignon Blanc in the case of white wine. Lost Vines is the range of Mediterranean variety wines designed especially for millennials: casual, fresh and sweet wines, which stand out for their aromatic intensity. In both cases, the reds have won a gold medal and the whites a silver medal.

Recognition of the classics

Mundus Vini has also recognized the quality of Torres' classics, which have become icons of Spanish wine due to their long history and international presence. Sangre de Toro stands out with a gold medal in its original and organic versions, for its aromatic intensity and body, and Viña Esmeralda, awarded by the judges for its balance and elegance.

In its 35th edition, the Mundus Vini Grand International Award has established itself as one of the most prestigious wine competitions in the world. Organized by the Meininger Verlag publishing group, the 2025 Spring Tasting brought together hundreds of wines from 37 countries, evaluated in blind tastings by a panel of 250 experts from 55 nations. Mundus Vini Non-Alcoholic has held its third edition this year to give visibility to the category of non-alcoholic wines, a growing trend globally.
