 Selectus Wines tasting pannel
 1st April 2012

Juve & Camps is one of the wineries most readily recognised by consumers when it comes to Cava. With the company’s commercial history starting in 1921, the Cavas of Juve & Camps have always signified top quality products, very obviously acknowledged by several generations of consumers. In recent years they have opted for creating Cavas made chiefly from foreign grape varieties, giving their newest products a more international feel.

Appearance

Golden yellow with deep golden almost reddish glints. Very lively and persistent strings of bubbles.

Nose

A very clean Cava, displaying abundant fruit fragrances that combine soft white fruits with underlying red fruits like cherries, followed by aromas derived from autolysis such as toasted bread, confectionery…

Palate

This is a very intense and fruitdriven Brut Cava, evoking again on the palate notes perceived on the nose. Citrus finish leaving a clean and very fresh sensation.

Remarks

In the case of a mediterranean Blanc de Noirs, we can do no more than take our hats off to this amazing and original Catalan Cava. A delicious Cava that surprises us with its robustness and equally with its fine combination of aromas and flavours. Adapting to numerous styles of cooking, it is ideal for serving with dishes that contain white  meats in sauces, rice with seafood and spicy dishes.

Serving temperature: from 6 to 8º C.

Recommended glass: Riedel, Vinum Collection, Cuvée Prestige glass.
