Algueira Pizarra 2012

Appearance: Cherry red hue with garnet tints, medium intensity, with nice tears, clean and bright.

Nose: Intense ripe black fruit, along with smoky aromas, mineral notes and forest berries.

Palate: Fresh on entry, meaty on the palate with nice unctuosity, a forceful finish replaying the aromas found on the nose, mineral notes and crème de cassis.  Mature tannins, fresh with good balance.
